  • long knife.

Preparing this product takes a little time; decorating the finished cake with cream takes 15 minutes. To serve a truly delicious birthday cake, strictly follow this recipe:

  1. Bake two rectangular cakes of the same height, the size of which will correspond to your stencils. If one cake ends up higher than the other, trim off the excess with a knife.
  2. Place two or one numbers on top of the cakes, depending on how old the birthday person is, cut along the contour, divide into 2-3 cakes and layer the inside with butter cream. Repeat the procedure with both numbers. You can place pieces of strawberries or other not very juicy fruits directly on the cream.

  1. Now you need to level the surface of the product with butter cream. To do this, place it in a pastry bag without a nozzle, spread it in a thin layer over the entire surface of the product, and level it using a spatula or knife.
  2. The prepared birthday cake needs to be decorated. We put snow-white buttercream into a pastry bag and put on a medium-sized star tip. Now you need to cover the side surfaces with vertical lines, trying not to leave gaps between them. Before designing the product in the form of the number “0” (as well as 8, 9, where there are internal ovals), you need to place the inner part of the stencil strictly in the center, outline the contours with a toothpick, and then decorate this contour with pink cream.

  1. When creating a picture, we use pink cream and a medium-sized shell attachment. You need to make an inner zero on the oval cake, sides along the edges of the surface of the cake and at the base of the product.
  2. Now you will need buttercream to create a flowering meadow on your cake. Children especially like these oil flowers; they are completely edible and look beautiful. Classic chocolate strawberry cake with snow-white cream is a delicious recipe for your birthday table. You will need the following set of products for the cakes:

  • 200 gr. Sahara;
  • 1 cup flour;
  • 0.5 glasses of milk;
  • 60 gr. cocoa powder;
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt;
  • 125 ml water;
  • a packet of baking powder;
  • 1 egg;
  • 60 ml refined vegetable oil.

First, prepare the flour cake layers:

  1. In a separate container, mix a portion of milk according to the recipe, 1 yolk, vegetable oil.
  2. Separately, combine flour, cocoa powder and baking powder so that there are no lumps. Pour the milk-butter mixture into this dry part.
  3. Separately, beat one egg white until fluffy and manually fold it into the chocolate mass.
  4. Pour the dough into an oiled springform pan and place in the oven for 40 minutes, preheated to 180 degrees.

Cool the finished chocolate cake on a wire rack and prepare the cream: beat a glass of very heavy cream with a small amount of vanilla, while whipping add one heaped tablespoon of powdered sugar. Cover the cakes evenly with this cream - there should be 4 of them.

To decorate, melt 60 grams of dark chocolate and 60 milliliters of heavy cream, mix the mixture until smooth, pour the glaze over the surface of the cake so that beautiful smudges form. There is no sugar in this cake.

Sponge cake with fruits

We calculate the products for two biscuits. If you bake a larger cake, the amount of ingredients will increase.

We will need:

    200 grams of flour

    100 grams of starch

    2 grams citric acid

    2 grams vanillin

If you wish, you can add raisins, pieces of dried apricots, and prunes directly to the biscuits.

We tie on an apron and start preparing biscuits.

First, break the eggs into a bowl and begin to beat them, slowly adding sugar and citric acid. Take a larger bowl. The mass should double. And keep in mind, it will not be very thick, as happens if you beat only egg whites.

  • Now you need to mix the starch with flour and slowly, stirring constantly, pour it into the beaten eggs.
  • Here you can add dried fruits (don’t forget to finely chop the dried apricots and prunes before doing this), mix everything thoroughly again.
  • Preheat the oven to approximately 200 degrees.
  • Grease the mold with vegetable oil and carefully pour out about half of the resulting mass.
  • Place in the oven and increase the temperature to 250 degrees.
  • Bake for about 30 minutes, making sure that the cake is baked evenly; to do this, swap the baking sheet with the mold. You can check readiness with a wooden spatula.
  • Carefully remove the cake from the mold and begin baking the second one in the same way.

Please note that the cakes rise during baking, almost doubling in size.

We soak the first biscuit while it is hot. For impregnation, you can dilute any jam in a small amount of water. Don't be afraid if you have some jam berries left on the sponge cake. You need to thoroughly soak the second sponge cake after removing it from the oven.
