P The first pancake, as you know, rarely comes out in the correct shape. Especially when it comes to such a subjective topic as equipment, where there are often so many people - so many opinions. But the company ZA SPORT did everything possible to ensure that at least the presentation was colorful, bright and attracted the attention of the sports community. The outfitters should applaud, if only because she prepared a set of 17 items of clothing and accessories from scratch in less than three months. Despite the fact that even on the development of a single T-shirt, according to the designer and founder of the company Anastasia Zadorina, sometimes up to 20 people worked.

ZHUKOV: "WE LOOKING FORWARD TO THE PYEONGCHANG UNIFORMS"

In three months, we made 300 sets of equipment, 174 of which were intended for the delegation,” said Zadorina. - We are a young, fashionable, very fast-moving company, so we chose an innovative, architectural image. The gray color represents achievements not only of a sporting nature, but also of a personal nature. I believe that sports uniforms should not be too bright. Athletes must carry themselves and their achievements with dignity and quite strictly. All clothing is made from natural fabrics with a small addition of polyester to make the athletes comfortable and at the same time the clothes do not wrinkle and are comfortable to wear.

We have a new partner, and this is the first creative step for the company in this direction,” noted the President of the Russian Olympic Committee, Alexander Zhukov. - I hope everyone likes the uniform. The main thing is that I want the athletes to like it. In this case, these are very young guys, 15 - 16 years old. The equipment is fashionable and modern, it cannot be confused with some other country, which is also very important. This is a test of the pen, we are looking forward to sketches of the uniform for the Olympic athletes at Pyeongchang. This collection was created in a very short time. And one can only imagine what kind of work was done to provide a fairly large team with everything necessary and of decent quality.

According to Zadorina, the company ZA SPORT I have been working 24/7 for the last few months. Moreover, in parallel with the creation of equipment for the youth team, the company has already begun creating sketches of the uniforms in which our Olympians will compete at the Games in Pyeongchang. Whether it will be similar to the one provided for performances in Hungary is a big question.

Let this remain our secret for now,” Zadorina intrigued. - I can only say that this form will be presented in November.

OLYMPIANS HAD SUITCASES FOR THE FIRST TIME

One of the first innovations ZA SPORT was the appearance in the collection... of suitcases. Until now, Russian athletes only received bags on wheels or even backpacks. But a survey of a commission of athletes headed by Olympic fencing champion Sofia the Great showed that suitcases would not be a problem for our athletes.

Our commission actively participated in consultations and developments,” Velikaya confirmed. - We looked at the materials and made our suggestions. We are grateful to the company that the opinion of each member of the commission was always taken into account. There were a lot of nuances: where it needed to be made looser, where it needed to be thinner, where it needed to be warmer, and the like. What we ultimately saw makes us happy. I think the company ZA SPORT copes well with assigned tasks. We especially liked the idea with suitcases.

Each of the provided suitcases is different from the other. It seems that all employees of the company took part in the painting. They hand-wrote wishes for victory for the athletes and tried to inspire them to perform great deeds. And after the press conference ended, all its participants joined and left their autographs.

Alexander Zhukov also revealed a few details about the process of creating the form.

Considering that the European Olympic Festival will be held in Hungary in the middle of summer, we assumed that it would be hot there,” Zhukov said. - Although, of course, you can’t make any guesses with the current weather. Initially the company ZA SPORT offered us T-shirts with a rubberized Russian flag in the middle. But obviously this is inconvenient in hot weather. So we asked to redo the design, and in the end the jerseys look different.

The guest of honor at the presentation was two-time Olympic champion and world record holder in pole vaulting Elena Isinbaeva. Elena has something to compare with: over the course of her career, she competed at three Olympics and tried all possible equipment.

Times are changing, and it makes no sense to compare manufacturers,” Isinbayeva emphasized. - What was fashionable many years ago is unacceptable now. It seems to me that the choice of minimalism for Russia now is just right. Let's see how these clothes will look after use, in what form we will meet the guys at the airport after Hungary. This will be the main result of the company's work.

At these words, Anastasia Zadorina smiled. According to her, the uniform was no longer tested: they were crumpled, dirty and even torn to reveal weak points. The new collection passed the internal inspection with flying colors. This means that our youth team in Hungary must not let us down.

In a few days it will become known whether the Russian team, which is accused of massive doping fraud, will participate in the Olympic Games in Pyeongchang. If the worst fears are confirmed, it will be the most serious blow to Russian sports in history. But there is one plus: then the world will not see our new uniform, made by Zasport, the official outfitter of the team.

The presentation of the uniform, as well as the accompanying casual collection, took place today in Moscow. The equipment set for each athlete includes 72 items: from tracksuits, jackets and swimsuits (it is not very clear why they are at the Winter Olympics) to dress trousers, shirts and ties.

The press release says that the design team, when creating a new Russian image, was inspired by architecture, space and constructivism. Space is not particularly visible, but there is a lot of faceless Soviet constructivism. From the presentation, however, no one understood exactly what clothes the team will wear at the opening parade (if they go).

Some outfits from the casual collection caused a violent outburst of humor on social networks.

It is impossible not to mention that the owner of the Zasport company, which won the tender at the beginning of 2017, is Anastasia Zadorina, the daughter of Colonel General of the FSB and President of the Dynamo sports club Mikhail Shekin. She is known mainly as the author of a series of patriotic T-shirts with prints like “Don’t make fun of our Iskanders” and “Topol is not afraid of sanctions.”

Anastasia Zadorina's Zasport company, which at the beginning of 2017 was chosen as the new outfitter for the Russian Olympic team, is producing uniforms for the Russian youth team. How the presentation went is in the RBC photo report.

Zasport is part of the ZA Group, which, in addition to the sports direction, develops the anastasiAZadorina brands and organizes and provides PR support for events. The founder and main owner of the company is Anastasia Zadorina. In April 2016, Forbes magazine wrote that she is the daughter of the head of the Russian FSB support service and the president of the Dynamo sports club, Mikhail Shekin.

ZA Group began producing sportswear in 2012. She specializes in developing corporate identity and creating clothing for outdoor activities and travel.

Zasport’s clients include Dynamo, Vnukovo, Norilsk Nickel, and Rosatom. According to SPARK, Za Sport LLC, whose founder is Anastasia Zadorina, was registered on December 1, 2016. Zadorina also owns 45% in Za Group LLC (revenue in 2015 - 638 thousand rubles, loss - 86 thousand rubles), as well as Equipsport LLC and eight other companies. Equipsport, according to the government procurement portal, in 2016 supplied sports equipment for the Transneft Spartakiad worth 1.6 million rubles.

Zadorina gained some fame in 2014 from an action in Moscow: the designer offered passers-by to exchange their clothing from foreign brands for T-shirts with the words “Topol is not afraid of sanctions” or “Sanctions? Don't make my Iskanders laugh.

New equipment was produced for the European Youth Olympic Festival - competitions for athletes 12-18 years old, which will be held at the end of July in Győr, Hungary. “We had a very short time frame; in three months we made 300 sets, each consisting of 17 pieces of equipment,” said Zadorina.

The youth collection is “an embodied concept of urbanism,” says Zasport. The idea was based on elements of urban architecture, straight technological silhouettes, normcore style and the lifestyle of modern young people.

The main color of the collection is “urban grey, opening up endless possibilities of variation and expressing calm, noble confidence.” “The gray color is architecture, a big city, something new,” Zadorina explained at a press conference. “Athletes should look static and not too bright,” she says.

The presentation was attended by two-time Olympic champion in athletics, member of the International Olympic Committee Elena Isinbaeva

It became known at the beginning of February 2017 that the Olympic Committee would change its outfitter for the first time in 15 years. Zasport replaced the long-time partner of ROC Bosco di Ciliegi Mikhail Kusnirovich, whose contract expired in January.

Bosco di Ciliegi has collaborated with the Russian Olympic Committee for 15 years. As Kusnirovich explained, the committee requested 650 million rubles from the group for the right to continue working with athletes. per year. The businessman called these conditions inadequate.

The contract with the company Zasport to outfit Russian Olympians until 2025 was signed at the end of March

The amount of the contract for the party's equipment. Alexander Zhukov said that it is comparable to the amounts of contracts concluded by committees in other countries. According to him, Zasport made the best offer in terms of price compared to all candidates.

Zasport said that in addition to the existing production in Moscow, the company intends to open a second factory, as well as a federal network of branded stores “with prices accessible to the mass consumer.” The opening of the ZA Sport equipment center and flagship store is scheduled for November 2017.

At the presentation of the form on July 13, Zadorina clarified that the brand’s online store will also open in November

The debut of the new Olympic team outfitter.

At the ROC office they presented the first “working” uniform of the Russian national team from a new outfitter - the ZA Sport company. Russian athletes will wear these costumes at the European Youth Olympic Festival in Hungary (July 23-30).

The contract with Bosco di Ciliegi, which dressed our Olympians from 2002 to 2016, has ended - in early spring an 8-year contract was signed with the ZA Group, which owns the rights to the Za Sport brand.

The outfitter company is headed by designer Anastasia Zadorina, the daughter of the former head of the FSB Operations Support Service, Mikhail Shekin.

“We had a very short time frame; in three months we made 300 kits, of which 174 will be given to athletes. The suitcases were painted by hand. Gray color is architecture, a big city, something new. Athletes should look static and not too bright", Zadorina said at the presentation.

When creating the uniform, Za Sport consulted with fencer Sofia the Great and other Russian athletes, as well as presidents of 60 federations.

The outfitter company's branded store will open in November (including the ability to purchase online). In December, a presentation of the uniform for the Russian Olympic team, which will go to Pyeongchang, is expected.

And many are looking forward to this presentation with great excitement. It’s no secret that many in the leadership of the ROC were dissatisfied with the first sports collection of Za Sport. And yesterday’s version made me doubt the outfitter even more.

And if the gray uniform made for the youth festival is not so critical (after all, the event is not such a large-scale event), then the uniform for Korea will definitely be discussed by everyone. At the Winter Games, the Russian team, by tradition, is the most representative.
