With the transition to the older age group, Svetlana Sleptsova began to perform better and better, and at the age of 19 she became the champion of the junior world championship in the individual race. The key to the girl's brilliant success, her coaches called persistent character. She never missed a workout, always giving all her best. Perseverance and dedication did their job: Sleptsova falls under the gun of the coaches of the women's team and in 2007 makes her debut in the national team.
