Step 1: Follow the old path to find help

At the second stage of the investigation, after finding out the location of Tamara in Oxenfurt, the Bloody Baron will tell Geralt the story of how he and Ciri participated in the race for a bet, and after the race they fought together with the basilisk. Ciri's Story: Escape from the Swamps

The Crooked Marsh was home to many terrible monsters, but none were as dangerous as the rider of the Wild Hunt who was chasing Ciri. Ciri once again manages to elude the Wild Hunt. To quickly escape from the Crooked Marsh, use instant movement (the [Space] key), run towards the marker in the eastern part of the location, do not pay attention to the portals with the hounds of the Wild Hunt and other enemies. We hide on a tree from Imlerich, who will lose track and prefer to return to his girlfriends - witches.

Ciri's Story: Out of the Shadows

Ciri knew that she would have a chance to save the baron only if she acted quickly and used her magic power. The girl made a desperate decision. In the blink of an eye, she moved closer to the monster and cut off his head. Unfortunately, when Ciri used her powers, Eredin immediately realized where the girl was. The brief moment that awakened her dormant powers was enough to attract the Wild Hunt. Ciri did not want to put the whole area at risk - and she would inevitably be destroyed by the appearance of the riders of Eredin. So she hastily left Vronitsa and headed for Novigrad, hoping to find Yennefer.

Step 1: Kill the Basilisk

After returning from the swamps to Vronitsa with information about Anna's location, the Bloody Baron will keep his promise and continue to talk about the battle with the basilisk that happened after the horse race. We are waiting for the moment when the basilisk falls to the ground, inflicting several blows. The wounded monster will knock the Bloody Baron to the ground and try to kill him, but this time Ciri will have time to save her benefactor from certain death.

Step 2: Get to the top of the tower and save the baron

An angry basilisk will pick up the baron and fly to the roof of the tower. Ciri will have no choice but to use her gift, which will leave a mark and attract the attention of the Wild Hunt. After saving the Bloody Baron, she will be forced to leave Vronitsa and go to Novigrad.

Ciri's story: a visit to the Younger

After a long search, Geralt finally found Bastard Junior and by force wrested from him the truth about Ciri and about the events in which I, dear reader, played a significant role.

Step 1: Get on the roof and go down to the balcony

We leave Buttercup in front of the gate. We climb the ladder to the roof of the house, run along the roofs to the marker on the map, jump to the balcony and make our way through the window into the room to the Bastard Junior, who will sarcastically greet Ciri and take up the sword.

Step 2: Kill Bastard Junior

In battle, we inflict several blows on the enemy and send them to the knockdown. After the duel, we release Dudu and order him to take the form of the Bastard Junior. The noise in the room will come running guards. We kill all the bandits, using a special attack by holding down the [Q] key, we go down and go out the door.

Ciri's story: headlong

Ciri defeated the Bastard and freed Dudu, but our troubles had only just begun. The bastard raised the alarm of his people, and we had to run as fast as we could. The only escape route led us to Temple Island.

Run towards Temple Island

After Dandelion is released in the Hut on the outskirts, he will tell you about Ciri's escape from Novigrad. We follow Astrid to the baths through the whole village. We undress in the dressing room. We answer Astrid's mother's questions and keep up the conversation: we talk about ourselves, about tattoos (a reference to books), about feelings for Skjall.

Visiting the bathhouse, drinking Freya's fire water, and swimming in the pool before leaving Lofoten restores Ciri's health. Preparation will make it easier to endure encounters with opponents during the flight to the Rock of the Drowned.

Step 2: Meet Skjall at the stable

After completing the wellness procedure, we leave the bathhouse and go to the stable, where Skjall will be waiting for a meeting. You can reward the youngster with a kiss for the care shown (there will not be enough time for a more generous gratitude). The Wild Hunt will try to capture the fugitive, but to no avail.

Step 3: Try to defeat the warriors of the Wild Hunt

During the battle, we try not to get involved in protracted fights. After several killed soldiers we return to the stable.

Step 4: Saddle Up and Ride to Rock of the Drowned

Skjall refuses to let Ciri go alone and personally escorts the girl to the Rock of the Drowned, becoming a traitor in the eyes of the villagers. A mysterious elf in a mask will already be waiting on the spot, who will take Ciri with him and set sail on a boat. The last person Skjall sees before losing consciousness will be the freak Uma, the court jester of the Bloody Baron, whom he won at cards.

This task starts automatically during the passage of the quest.

After you get the body of the Coward from the well, into which he fell, running away from the Morkvarg and died of blood loss, Yennefer will revive the Coward with the help of necromancy and the magical energy of the grove in order for him to tell you about what happened to Ciri. The coward will resist the magic of the sorceress, but still, under pressure, he will be forced to tell everything that he knows.

While on the coast of the island, hunting for crabs, Skjall witnessed a portal open in the sky, from which a girl fell out. Deciding to check what happened, he advanced to the scene, where a strange man in a mask came out to meet him behind a rock, he was carrying a girl in his arms. The man asked Skjall to help them both, and he could not refuse. The unconscious girl ended up in Skjall's house, where a man in a mask tried to talk to her, who determined the meeting place - under the rock of the Drowned. Falling asleep again, Ciri wakes up next time in the company of Skjall. He will explain to the girl where she is and what happened to her. Ciri has been unconscious for a whole day, so she wants to go to meet her friend as soon as possible. When you try to get out of bed, Skjall's sister Astrid will enter the room and invite Ciri to go with her to the bathhouse in order to warm up after she is soaking wet. As much as you resist this suggestion, Astrid will just push Ciri a little and she will fall on the bed, which will show her how bad her condition is.

To continue, you will need to go with Astrid to the sauna. You can pay attention to Ciri's health, it does not regenerate, so the sauna is exactly what you need to come to your senses.

Once in the bath building, first you will need to take off the clothes to do this, you need to proceed to the room on the left, where you will find a small mirror. It is needed in order to take off your clothes, you will have several options, and the conversation in the bath depends on what look you take:

1. Exit the waiting room - at this stage, you will simply find yourself in the previous room in the company of Astrid, who will still insist that Ciri get rid of excess clothes.

Once in the bath, in any case, a conversation will begin, how to answer questions is up to you, nothing depends on it. The only thing you learn from this conversation is that Skjall has his eye on Ciri. Having finished washing, mother Astrid will offer Ciri to plunge into the pond behind the bath.

By plunging into a pond and drinking a drink on a tray, Ciri will fully restore health. (It is not necessary to do this, you can immediately change clothes and leave the bath).

In order to get out of the bath, you again need to return to the mirror and now select the "Get dressed and go out" option - Astrid transferred the girl's clothes to the bath in advance.

After dressing, you will need to find Skjall in the stable, where he has prepared a horse for Ciri. Skjall will ask the girl if his relatives have told anything superfluous. You will have a choice bearing consequences:

1. Only that you liked me - when choosing this answer, Ciri will have the opportunity to kiss Skjall with the phrase "I'm not in a hurry." This would prove to be the first and only kiss Skjall would ever experience in his life.

The conversation will be interrupted by an attack on the village by a wild hunt. You will have to fight the enemies until Skjall yells "Save Ciri". No matter how many wild hunt warriors and hounds you kill, they will appear an infinite number of times. (Sometimes at this stage it occurs bug, in which the Warriors of the Wild Hunt simply stand still and it is impossible to kill them. This indicates that you are playing with a pirate, in order to get rid of this bug, you need to remove all add-ons to the game, do not forget to save the save you need).

To continue, you will need to go to the stable and mount a horse. But before that, there will be a small conversation with Skjall if you ask about his family "How is your family?" - this will lead to small consequences, which you will encounter in the task "Child of the Elder Blood" during the dialogue with Geralt.

Next, you will have to ride to the Rock of the Drowned, along with Skjall, while dodging the attacking wild hunt hounds, each attack will be accompanied by the loss of health points, so be careful.

Once in the right place, Ciri will meet with his comrade, while Skjall will be attacked by warriors of the wild hunt. Ciri will try to intervene, but will be put to sleep by her comrade's spell, who will put her on a boat and take her out to sea.

Saskia, the maiden of Aedirn, is the leader of the Aedirn resistance who came out of the people, fighting against the intervention of Demavend. A strong leader, an experienced swordswoman, but most importantly - a great speaker.

Under the banner of Saskia, both people of various origins and non-humans flock - even radical terrorists from among the Scoia'tael. Their utopian goal is to build a welfare state free from racial discrimination and class oppression.

Anticipating obvious suspicions: no, Saskia is seriously and sincerely. And if Geralt decides to help her cause, the reason for the girl's idealism will soon become clear: Saskia is not a man at all, but a dragon. Her name is Saesentessis, and she is the daughter of our old friend, the golden dragon Villentretenmerth, better known as Borch Three Jackdaws.

In the end, trust in people played with the maiden of Aedirn (although it’s not a fact that she really was a “maiden”, because she hinted to Geralt a couple of times to the contrary) a cruel joke: Philippa Eilhart subjugated the girl to herself, charming her with the help of a ritual that Skalen Bourdon aptly called "lesbomancy".

The fate of Saesentessis remains unclear - in the game, Geralt could kill the enchanted dragon, or not, or he could try to disenchant. What came out of this, we will find out in the third part.

Daring, cynical, domineering and independent, the sorceress Yennefer is the exact opposite of Geralt... And the love of his life, and the only one and mutual.

The tragic paradox of this relationship is that, despite all their deep and mutual love, Geralt and Yennefer are incompatible almost on a cellular level when it comes to living together. Geralt is annoyed by city life - and Yennefer can't imagine what to do in the wilderness. Like many other sorceresses, Yennefer's appearance is thoroughly tweaked - in her real preschool youth, she had, let's say, far no proud posture. Although her attractiveness is still rather natural, because elven blood flows in her. You can evaluate it by videos and screenshots: violet eyes, black curls and a mountain of all-consuming charisma - despite the fact that in appearance it seems to be not the first beauty. Everything is in full accordance with the original source, at least put it on the illustration for the book.

Triss Merigold

An old acquaintance of Geralt, one of the youngest sorceresses of the Northern Kingdoms, best friend Yennefer from Vengerberg, a frequent visitor to Kaer Morhen and the official sex symbol of the game - on the eve of the release of the second part, she even appeared in Playboy.

Taking advantage of Yennefer's absence, Triss took the place of Geralt's lover. She turned something similar with varying success in books: they converged at a difficult moment when Geralt quarreled with Yennefer, but parted as soon as the black-haired sorceress reappeared on the horizon. However, this never prevented them from maintaining warm friendly relations, full of trust and mutual assistance.



The game Triss does not exactly match the book description - the similarity was observed in the first part of the game, but then it became much less. According to Pan Sapkowski, Triss has bright blue eyes, not green eyes, and long brown hair.

But the most important thing is that Merigold's playing skin is almost perfect, which does not fit in with her biography. The nickname "Fourteenth from the Hill" Triss earned at the battle of Sodden Hill, when she, wounded and burned beyond recognition, was mistaken for dead and added to the list of dead sorcerers.

Even after a long treatment and rehabilitation, her chest remained disfigured with scars - Triss claimed that she would never wear a low-cut dress again. And magic is powerless here: Triss, a specialist in healing charms and elixirs, suffers from a severe allergy to magic, and potions can easily kill her.

However, it is unlikely that anyone will be against the fact that this detail in the game was delicately bypassed. Triss herself wouldn't have objected.

Child of the Elder Blood

She is Princess Cirilla, she is also the Lion Cub from Cintra, she is the Swallow, she is Falka, she is the surprise child, she is the Child of the Elder Blood, she is simply Ciri - the adopted daughter of Geralt and Yennefer and, without exaggeration, the main character of the entire cycle about the witch.

All the more or less significant forces of the world are striving to get Ciri into their own hands, and her heredity is to blame. First, Cirilla is the only legitimate heir to the throne of Cintra, a small kingdom in an important strategic position. Secondly, she is a child of the Elder Blood, the bearer of a rare gene that was considered lost many years ago.

The blood of the legendary elven sorceress Lara Dorren aep Shiadal flows in the veins of Cyril, and she herself is the most powerful Source, a latent sorceress with unique visionary and mediumistic abilities. In her youth, Ciri renounced magic, having lost the ability to conjure, but the gift of the Elder Blood did not disappear from this: the girl knows how to open roads between worlds, freely piercing space and time.



Someone very similar to Ciri is mentioned in the prophecies of the ancient elven seer Itlina - it says that the end of the world (the age of the Wolf Blizzard and the hour of the White Cold) is just around the corner, but the world will be reborn from the grain of the Elder Blood, and only those who go will survive for the Swallow, and her descendants will rule in the new world.

The name "Cirilla" is written in Elder Speech as Zireael and means "Swallow". With descendants, however, the girl is still deaf. During her short gangster career, Ciri discovered that she is bisexual, and although she is still more attracted to men, the girl simply had no luck with them - only at the very end of the saga there were hints of a romantic relationship between her and one completely legendary young man .

In the game, Ciri looks almost the same as described in the book, except that the long scar left to her once by the Nilfgaardian coroner Stefan Skellen is not as scary as it should be. And inappropriately high heels on boots can be easily explained by a little posturing: Ciri always preferred fashionable expensive clothes, even when she hunted on the high road with a gang of bandits.

I wonder if they will show us the rose that should be tattooed on Ciri's thigh, near the groin itself? Knowing attitude CD Project Red to "adult" topics, we would assume so.

The quest is obtained after completing the quest "Audience".

Stage 1: find a ship sailing on Skellige
